Centering Family, Faith, and Fun for Grandparents and Caretakers

Lillie’s Foundation would like to thank you for supporting our 2026 Founder’s Day and Love on Lillie’s Campaign. You can still give during April as we continue our celebration in recognition of Global Intergenerational Week (April 24th – 30th).

We are uplifting the work of caretakers and awareness of ageism April 25th, on our IG page where we will be featuring stories of caretakers.

Did You Know? :

Black caretakers in Georgia make up 35% of the population, which is a little less than 3.6 million caretakers across the state. Currently, we are reaching about 2% of that, which is why we need your support.

Who are we celebrating? :

We are continuing to education and bring awareness to caretakers. In March, we celebrated our caretakers and grandparents raising school aged children at our Family Fun Day, Saturday, March 28th. This annual event takes place in the spring and summer. Our goal in the spring focuses on our health pillar, getting grands back active at the change of seasons. Our goal in the summer focuses on our wellness pillar, getting grands mentally, physically, emotionally ready for back to school and the fall.

Lillie’s CARES :

This year, we’ve been on the move meeting and reaching caretakers and grandparents across the State of Georgia. If you are a school, faith based or community leader that works with or supports seniors and grandparents, please have them complete our Interest Survey. Our goal is to connect grandparents and caretakers raising school aged children to our Lillie’s CARES program.

Solution We’re Offering :

The Lillie’s Foundation Healthy GRANDS Initiative focuses on the mental, emotional, social and physical health and wellness of grandparents and caretakers raising school . This initiative uplifts our health and wellness pillars to ensure our grands are healthy.

We want stakeholders this year to stay connected to our blog and Lillie’s Foundation “Love on Lillie’s” Campaign, as we champion for grandparents and caretakers raising school-aged children, ensuring they have the economic, education, health, and wellness support they need to thrive.

Support our campaign this year as we are asking 100 people or more across the nation to Love on Lillie’s as we support grandparents and caretakers raising school-aged children. Help us support those who serve with compassion.
