“Talk with Your Loved Ones!”

Lillie’s Foundation wants all grandparents, seniors and guardians raising school aged children to enjoy this special series on the blog sponsored by Allen’s Printing Company called, “Conversations with DA!”

The tenth topic for the series is titled, “Talk with Your Loved Ones!”

Family is such a necessity and value for us. It impacts our identity, beliefs, values and perspective on life. However, we realize and know that family relationships are also very complicated and complex.

Over the years we have witnessed and experienced family members and Loved ones leaving this realm with unfinished business and unresolved conflicts. Where death may create an end to the ongoing issue, it doesn’t stop the trauma from being passed down.

Don’t leave plans for what happens with your legacy and final business without having a conversation with your Loved ones.

You should considering doing a family meeting/dinner/mixer with all of your family and Loved ones being impacted by anything you’re leaving behind or what you desire to leave behind for them.

As much as we want to believe it’s not going to be our family, it’s a fact that families and Loved ones do fall out and fall a part over money and unsettled business affairs of the deceased.

Take the time to talk with your family and Loved ones to help them navigate through your business affairs before issues of health decline, accident or natural causes take place. Being prepared doesn’t means planning for your life not to be fully lived and rewarding.

Check out more of our work and make sure you get connected to Our Grands Network and Educate Grands Program for workshops and more information on this topic.
